Background and training
Claudia trained at the University of Portsmouth and completed her BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006. She went on to add postgraduate diplomas in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics and in Chinese Herbal Medicine, plus Level 6 qualifications in Advanced Fertility Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy. Those 4 strands of advanced study map directly onto the Body Perfected scope of practice.
A former international-level competitive swimmer, she also holds a Diploma in Sports Therapy, which grounds her work in anatomy and physiology. She is BAcC-registered (MBAcC), with full professional indemnity insurance and the BAcC Code of Professional Conduct as the operating standard.
How the Body Perfected pillars came together
Body Perfected works from 1 Orchard Street in Marylebone: Bond Street and Marble Arch tube are both 3 minutes' walk. The clinic deliberately spans 4 integrative pillars: acupuncture and the wider TCM toolkit (moxibustion, cupping, tuina), Chinese herbal medicine, manual lymphatic drainage, and nutritional therapy. The point of holding all four together is continuity: the same TCM diagnosis (pulse, tongue, history) carries across modalities, and the herbal formula evolves as the picture changes.
How I work, and what I will not do
Most clients run integrative care alongside conventional medicine, never instead of it. The flagship 12 Weeks Fertility Reset Protocol is a 12-week structure built around the 90-day window of egg maturation; women on the programme are typically also under an NHS or private fertility clinic, and treatment notes are shared with that team on request. I never recommend stopping prescribed medication. Where presentation suggests a specialist consultation, I refer onwards. Clinical records are retained for 8 years per the BAcC Code of Professional Conduct.
Who I see
Three patient pictures recur most often at the clinic. First: women trying to conceive, naturally, or alongside an IVF / ICSI / IUI / FET cycle. Second: post-surgical recovery, typically 6 to 10 sessions of MLD over 4 to 8 weeks, started within the surgeon-cleared window after liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, gynaecomastia surgery, or laparoscopic gynaecology. Third: long-term care for chronic conditions, lipoedema, PMOS, endometriosis, miscarriage recovery, and postpartum recovery, where the integrative pillars work better in combination than any pillar in isolation.
