We listen first
A 60 to 90 minute first session with the time to be properly heard: history, medications, sleep, digestion, energy, mood, and cycle. Pulse and tongue diagnosis follow, and you leave with a TCM working diagnosis you understand.
If you've been told to 'just lose weight' or to 'come back when you want to conceive', you deserve more. PMOS, the condition you may know as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), affects around 1 in 10 UK women of reproductive age (NICE), and it can be managed. We support cycle regulation, insulin-sensitising nutrition, and stress-axis work, alongside your GP or endocrinologist.
Overview
PMOS is diagnosed when at least two of the three Rotterdam criteria are met:
It is hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive at once. Many women have insulin resistance, and with it a higher long-term risk of type 2 diabetes. NICE-aligned management combines weight management where relevant, insulin-sensitising nutrition, and, for those trying to conceive, ovulation-induction medication.
Integrative care works on the same drivers, alongside your GP or endocrinologist and never in place of prescribed medication: acupuncture is studied as an adjunct for cycle regulation and ovulation, and nutritional therapy targets the metabolic picture. Most women see us through fertility acupuncture or the 12 Weeks Fertility Reset Protocol, often as part of wider fertility care.

Claudia provides the best lymphatic drainage massage in London. She can scan your body like no one else. I almost fell asleep during my 90-minute session — the time flew by. Thank you Claudia!
Claudia is a true healer! I arrived very tense after a long flight and she was able to help calm and reset my nervous system. I highly recommend the 1-hour lymphatic massage.
I had a great lymphatic drainage session with Claudia. After having sinus surgery to remove polyps and dealing with congestion, I felt so much better after the session. Highly recommend!
Claudia is wonderful. Her treatments are incredibly relaxing. She is attentive and asks questions ahead of time to be more targeted during the sessions. Her treatment rooms promote a sense of calm. I would highly recommend her!
Acupuncture is studied for cycle regulation and ovulation in PMOS, and sessions are timed to whatever cycle you currently have. Most women see partial regulation within 3 to 6 months of consistent treatment: we track cycle length and basal body temperature at every visit, so progress is visible.
Insulin resistance drives the ovarian testosterone production that disrupts ovulation, which is why nutrition leads the metabolic work. Insulin-sensitising changes often shift faster than ovulation does: waist measurement and blood markers usually move first, and cycle regularity follows them.
Chronic cortisol blunts the signalling that triggers ovulation, so stress is not a side issue in PMOS. It is one of the three drivers we work on. Acupuncture is studied for exactly this kind of stress-axis work, and many clients find the sessions themselves deeply settling.
For women with PMOS trying to conceive, the 12 Weeks Fertility Reset Protocol works on cycle regulation, insulin sensitivity, and stress physiology in parallel: the three drivers of PMOS subfertility. It runs comfortably alongside GP-led metformin or letrozole protocols.
PMOS combines hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive features, so single-lever fixes underdeliver. Acupuncture, nutritional therapy, and herbal medicine work in parallel here, under one practitioner, with the same TCM diagnosis carrying across all three and the plan reassessed at every visit.
We never recommend stopping a prescribed medication. Many clients use integrative care alongside metformin, the pill, or letrozole, and any change to your prescription always sits with your prescribing clinician, with our notes available to them on request.
Why it happens
Insulin resistance: drives ovarian production of testosterone and disrupts ovulation
Genetic predisposition: PMOS runs in families
Chronic low-grade inflammation, often diet-driven
Excess body fat: adipose tissue is hormonally active and amplifies the cycle
Stress-axis dysregulation: chronic cortisol blunts ovulation signalling
Environmental endocrine disruptors (some plastics, pesticides)
Your history, your cycle, your energy, and what matters to you. The first session runs 60 to 90 minutes depending on the service: medical history, current medications, sleep, digestion, energy, mood, and your menstrual cycle where relevant. Pulse and tongue diagnosis follow, and from this we arrive at a TCM working diagnosis you understand.
You leave with a written summary of what was done, why, and the plan for your next session.
Integrative care that treats the cause of your symptoms. Rooted in 2,000 years of Chinese medicine, delivered for modern life, from Marylebone since 2010.

Every plan starts with being properly heard. We find what is driving your picture, treat it with the right combination of pillars, and evolve the plan with you as your body responds.

Acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tuina, manual lymphatic drainage, herbal formula: chosen for your TCM diagnosis, not by default. Sessions run 60 to 75 minutes, and you leave each one with a written summary of what was done and why.
Pulse, tongue, and current symptoms are reassessed at every visit, and the toolkit and herbal formula adjust as the picture shifts. Plans are agreed in 6-week or 12-week blocks, so you always know where you are in the arc.
As things settle, treatment moves to a maintenance frequency: keeping your cycle, energy, and recovery steady. Where you have a GP, fertility clinic, or surgeon involved, we coordinate with them throughout.

No, and we never recommend stopping a prescribed medication. Many of our clients use integrative care alongside metformin, the combined contraceptive pill, or letrozole. Acupuncture and nutrition can support cycle regulation and insulin sensitivity, which sometimes allows your prescribing clinician to step medication down over time, but that is a clinical decision made with them.
Most women see partial cycle regulation within 3 to 6 months of consistent treatment, longer if cycles have been absent for years. Insulin-sensitising changes, such as waist circumference and HOMA-IR (a blood-test measure of insulin resistance), often shift faster than ovulation does. We track cycle length and basal-body-temperature patterns at every visit.
No: PMOS is a syndrome with hormonal, genetic, and metabolic components, not a single condition that can be cured. However, evidence consistently shows that a 5-10% reduction in body weight (where there is excess) improves ovulation, insulin sensitivity, and cycle regularity in women with PMOS.
